During 2010, Local Funding Partnerships will host optional conference calls to answer questions about the application process for Peaceful Pathways: Reducing Exposure to Violence. The next call will be Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Asked Questions and the Call for Proposals. On the call we will answer any additional questions you may have
and further clarify the material.

Call specifics:

• Date: Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
• Conference Time: 1:30-3:00 PM Eastern Time.

• After dialing the 800 number, you will be asked to enter the pass code on your phone and then placed on hold until the start of the call. We will start promptly at 1:30 PM ET.
• You are encouraged to dial in 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
• There is no advance registration required.
• Cost to the caller: no charge—it is a toll-free number.

How will the call be organized?

• Promptly at 1:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time the call moderator will welcome you and introduce LFP Director Pauline Seitz.
• You will be instructed by the moderator how to enter the Q&A queue. Questions will be answered in the order they are received.
• We will answer as many questions as possible.
• In the past callers have asked for clarification about:
  • the role of the nominating funder and what types of funders are eligible to nominate a proposal;
  • the focus on projects related to violence, and what makes a project eligible;
  • the timing of the rolling application process and review dates;
  • the documents required, including the budget;
  • the online application process and the initial screening questionnaire.

Will I be able to ask about my specific project idea?

• No. This call is only for general information about the application process.
