Timetable
All proposals must be submitted through the Local Funding Partnerships online application system. For detailed instructions, please go to LFP Peaceful Pathways: Proposal Requirements.
2010 Deadlines
On the following dates the LFP office will open and review all applications that have been completed and submitted:
- May 5, 2010,
- September 1, 2010, and
- January 5, 2011.
Note: the online application system will continue to accept applications from Jan. 1 to Jan. 5, 2011.
After each deadline date there will be a two- to three-month period for initial review, followed by notification to each applicant as to whether or not his/her proposal will continue in review.
Applicants and nominating funders whose proposals continue in review will be in close contact with the LFP office. In the following months, RWJF staff and advisors will ask for additional information regarding the applicant’s organizational capacity, community and funder engagement, and specific project objectives, budget and timeline.
In order for proposals to be recommended to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for an LFP award:
- any requests for additional information must have been satisfied;
- project objectives and budget must be agreed upon; and
- the first year’s matching funds must be confirmed.
Grant award dates would be determined at that time.
